Job Summary:
Twin Cities Pain Clinic specializes in the most advanced and effective pain management techniques to give our patients lasting pain relief and improve their quality of life. We are a full-service treatment facility to treat virtually any pain condition. Focused on providing intervention and treatment using advanced techniques to provide relief and prevention of chronic pain, the group prides itself on its state-of-the-art multidisciplinary team-based approach, ongoing research, and education. Due to growth and increased patient volume, the group is seeking a full-time Interventional Pain Management Physician.
The Interventional Pain Management Physician task list includes but is not limited to:
- Provides primary duties related to pain management care for spine related and chronic or acute pain needs.
- Supports the practice in the role of outpatient follow-up care, new patient appointments, triage of patient needs, completion of patient forms, medication management, management of implantable devices, therapeutic injections and simple assessments in clinic.
- Performs pain management procedures and surgeries in Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- Communicates and coordinates patient care consistently and effectively with providers and colleagues.
- Perform physician duties for a rotating hospital and back up on call schedule
Qualifications:
- Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
- Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (“DEA”) registration;
- Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty
- Doctorate MD or DO required
- DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state of Minnesota
- ACLS required
